The Swedish Chemicals Agency has decided on a continued exemption to secure access to disinfectants in Sweden due to the corona pandemic. The exemptions apply to disinfectants which, among other things, contain hydrogen peroxide or active chlorine as mechanism of action.
The Swedish Chemicals Agency assesses that there is a risk that there will be a shortage of disinfectants as the spread of the coronavirus continues. By granting exemptions, the authority contributes to securing access to disinfectants. This is important to continue to counteract the spread of the coronavirus during the ongoing pandemic.
