From 18th to 20th October 2024, Wound Management by Bactiguard participated at the IWII & 6th Global Wound Conference in Selangor, Malaysia, one of the premier conventions in the wound care industry.

While presenting our HYDROCYN aqua wound care line at a busy booth, another highlight of our participation was the exclusive symposium held on October 19th, which attracted over 200 attendees (both- in person and virtually). The symposium featured insightful sessions from speakers such as Dr. Harivinthan Sellappan, who recently published a paper on the Impact of Peritoneal and Wound Lavage with Super-oxidized Solution on Surgical-site Infection after Open Appendicectomy for Perforated Appendicitis, which led to an extensive discussion on how this breakthrough approach can significantly reduce surgical-site infections. Dr. Sim Chap Hoong then shared his expertise on Handling Hard-to-Heal Wounds Using Hydrocyn Aqua in Primary Care Practice, offering practical solutions for complex wound care management with our product. In the last session, the audience listened to Prof. Dato’ Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair, who rounded off the symposium with the Launching of the New Consensus Report: Clean to Heal Concept and Experiences in Practice, introducing innovative wound care guidelines.

This symposium highlighted the versatility of HYDROCYN aqua and marked the launch of new guidelines for advancing wound management.
