Hydrocyn® aqua (Hydrocyn) is a non-alcoholic disinfectant for skin and surfaces, which effectively kills bacteria, virus and fungi without irritating the skin or being flammable.
Hydrocyn is an alcohol-free, pH-neutral and water-based disinfectant that doesn’t irritate your skin or eyes. It can be used both by adults and children, since there is no risk linked to getting splashes of Hydrocyn in your eyes or mouth. It is non-flammable and can also be used on personal items that require regular disinfection, such as mobile phones*.

Hydrocyn neither smell strong or sting, but it kills effectively both virus, bacteria and fungi. In collaboration with the Swedish Veterinary Institute (SVA), tests have been carried out with Hydrocyn on a virus culture of the new Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19. The results showed that 99.98% of the virus particles were inactivated – and thus not contagious.
Hydrocyn is a disinfectant for skin and surfaces. It has immediate effect when applied. Let Hydrocyn air dry, then you know that enough time has passed for the disinfection to reach full effect.
Spray liberally, distribute the liquid over your skin and rub in, allow to air dry. Same goes for surfaces, spray liberally and then let it air dry. If the surface remains damp, wipe dry with a dry paper towel.
Many workplaces equip their staff with Hydrocyn as part of the company’s prevention work. Hydrocyn does not contain alcohol and is therefore also well suited for public spaces and schools.
Unlike alcohol-based disinfectants Hydrocyn is not flammable, an important property when handling and storing large quantities of disinfectants.
